There are currently 12 sponsored riders on the Empulse Team, some of which are nationally ranked. The company began production in January of 2006 and within the first year gained much more exposure and success than originally anticipated. The first years sales set a much higher bar than expected and Empulse is planning to continue to raise that bar each year. Every item is hand designed by owner Tyler McGuire. Each piece has its own unique style and statement. The logo, along with the name, embody the extreme sport-lovers lifestyle. The logo is derived from the ekg mark of the heart beat, it represents life and passion. The extreme sports world is full of passionate people who live their lives based on Empulse, a psychic drive or instinctual urge.
